Segment #1 (completed)
Trout Run Trail begins along the
Upper Iowa River, using the existing Dug Road
Trail and the trail behind the dike, ending at Wold Park. |

This segment runs from Wold
Park, behind the Fairgrounds and ends at Medicap
Pharmacy.

This segment runs parallel to Montgomery Street
from Medicap Pharmacy to Highway 9 East. |

Segment #4 (completed)
This segment runs along Highway 9
to the Trout Run Park, home of the relocated bowstring
bridge. It connects to Gundersen Clinic--Decorah over
a bridge.

Segment #5 (completed)
This segment passes underneath
Highway 9 and follows the stream to the Decorah Fish
Hatchery, operated by the Iowa Department of Natural
Resources (DNR).

This segment runs through the Holthaus Farm to
a bridge over a creek. |

The trail
runs from the bridge
back to Trout Run Road.

Segment #9: From
Trout Run Road, to Middle Calmar Road, then crossing to
Old Highway 52 and Short Street. Tentative schedule
calls for construction in the summer of 2010..
Segment #10: Highway 9 crossing. Tentative
schedule calls for construction in the summer or fall of
2010.
Segment #11: Runs from the Highway 9 crossing to
the Decorah Campground along Highway 52. Tentative
schedule calls for construction in the Fall 2009/Spring
and Summer 2010, with completion in the Summer/Fall of
2010.
