The latest segment of
the trail to be paved is
the segment through "The
Cut," the cliff along
Highway 52 north of
Highway 9. Last
year crews blasted an
opening through the
rock. This spring
crews paved the trail
heading south from The
Cut to Highway 9. |

and doing preparation

the Iowa DOT grant means
the trail has now
received over $4 million
